Job: Assistant Chef (Camp Stevens, California)

Camp Stevens outside of San Diego, California, seeks an Assistant Chef.

Working in the Camp Stevens kitchen provides an opportunity to prepare delicious homemade meals curated around a thoughtful environmental and food ethic while living and working in community. We strive to use organic produce from our gardens and area farms when available, preparing plant-based meal options every day. Under the guidance of the Food Service Director, kitchen staff create and serve meals to meet the unique needs of adult retreats, youth campers, and staff gatherings. There is a lot of room for creativity and trying new recipes in this space. Food and lodging are included as part of compensation and living on-site is required.
