5 ways to support ECCC
DONATE TO ECCC TO SUSTAIN AND INCREASE OUR EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY EFFORTS
Donors who contribute $500 or more each year will be invited to join the Advocacy Council. The Advocacy Council are lay and ordained leaders with a passion for camping and retreat ministry. The Council helps support the mission of ECCC and ensure a sustainable future.
SUPPORT YOUR CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER BY GIVING YOUR TIME AND TREASURE and talent.
Schedule a recurring gift to a camp or conference center close to your heart. Many camps and conference centers have work weekends or needs for camp volunteers, including nurses and chaplains. Reach out to your local camp and ask them what they need.
ADVOCATE FOR CAMPS AND CONFERENCE CENTERS
Hold a Camp Sunday in your parishes and diocese: Pray for camp, sing camps songs and raise money for scholarships. Tell your story of why camp and conference centers are essential. Support a young person you know in working for a summer or season at a retreat center. Invite your program and center leadership to address diocesan convention or visit and preach at your parish. Share ECCC and member centers’ social media posts with your community.
CELEBRATE CAMP AND CONFERENCE CENTER LEADERSHIP
Nominate a Hero of Camping, recognized every three years at The Episcopal Church’s General Convention, or an individual for the Peter Bergstrom Leadership Award.
PRAY FOR CAMPS AND CONFERENCE CENTERS AND THEIR STAFF THROUGHOUT THE YEAR!
